Long Beach (Bãi Trường)
The island's main beach runs 20 km down the west coast. This is where the infrastructure sits: restaurants, shops, nightlife. Most four- and five-star hotels are on Long Beach.
Hotels: InterContinental, Sheraton, Novotel, Salinda, La Veranda.
Best for: all kinds of travellers, and a first trip to Phu Quoc.

Bai Dai (north)

Ong Lang
A quiet beach 15 minutes from central Duong Dong. Fine sand, a gentle slope into the water, almost no waves. Minimal crowds, maximum calm.

Bai Kem (south)
One of Phu Quoc's prettiest beaches, with turquoise water and white sand. This is the new luxury-resort zone. Nearby: the cable car to Hòn Thơm island.

Best for: luxury seekers, couples.
Duong Dong (centre)
