Location and how to get there

Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang sits on Hòn Tre Island, the largest island in Nha Trang Bay, 3.3 km from the city as the crow flies. There are two ways across.

Vinpearl cable car

The scenic option. The cable car stretches 3,320 metres over the sea at a height of 60 metres — one of the longest over-water cable cars in the world.

The cable-car station (Vinpearl Harbour) is 4–5 km from central Nha Trang, on Trần Phú street. A taxi or a Grab there runs 80,000–100,000 VND (~$3.50).

Speedboat

The boat runs from the Vinpearl Harbour terminal to the island in 5–10 minutes. For hotel guests the transfer is free. After 23:00, when the cable car closes, the boat is the only way onto the island — the last return trip is at 02:15.

Rooms and prices

The resort has 476 rooms, from standard Deluxe to three-bedroom villas with a private pool. All have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a safe, a minibar and 24-hour room service.

Standard rooms

A Deluxe (32 m²) is plenty for a couple or a solo traveller. A Grand Deluxe (42 m²) is roomier — no longer tight with a child. Both come in garden or ocean view; the ocean upgrade adds $20–30 a night.

Villas

Private beach

The hotel's beach is white sand, clear water and a gentle slope — comfortable swimming all through the dry season. There are loungers and umbrellas, but at peak hours (11:00–14:00) they run out, so come in the morning.

The pool

Akoya Spa
