Where to stay in Cam Ranh: the best beach resorts in 2026

Cam Ranh is a resort strip about 35 km south of Nha Trang: fourteen five-star hotels, each with its own stretch of Long Beach (Bai Dai). Rates run from about $63 a night at Duyen Ha to a private pool villa at Melia Vinpearl. This guide sorts the resorts by the holiday you want — family water park, all-inclusive, couples' spa, or a well-priced five-star — with 2026 prices and honest notes on the downsides.

Cam Ranh's resorts line Long Beach (Bài Dài) — 7 km of white sand and turquoise water

First, the honest bit: Cam Ranh is one long line of resorts, not a resort town. Nearly everything here is a 4- to 5-star beach resort built for the "settle in and don't leave" kind of holiday. There is no promenade, no market, no street food — just fishing villages and an empty highway behind the fence. So the choice isn't about which neighbourhood; it's about the type of stay: a family water park, an adults-friendly hideaway, all-inclusive, or a good-value five-star. This guide covers all four.

The other big draw: Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) is 5–15 minutes from any of the resorts. After a long-haul flight you are not stuck in a taxi for an hour — you are by the pool in ten minutes.

Exchange rate used here: 1 USD ≈ 26,000 VND. Ratings are pulled from TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Agoda, checked in 2025–2026.

Cam Ranh or Nha Trang: where to base yourself

White sandy beach with a palm tree and turquoise sea, a typical Cam Ranh coast view
Bai Dai — white sand and turquoise water without the crowds, because access is for resort guests only

One airport, two very different holidays. Cam Ranh is for people who want their own beach and quiet, and are happy to spend the week on the resort grounds. Nha Trang is the pick if you want markets, cafes and nightlife within walking distance. Plenty of travellers split the trip: a couple of nights on Bai Dai for the beach, the rest in the city. If it's city life you're after, look at Nha Trang hotels instead.

For families: water parks and dependable five-stars

Infinity pool overlooking the beach and mountains at a Cam Ranh resort
Each resort opens onto its own stretch of Long Beach

Families here want three things: a water park or slides, a kids' club, and a price that doesn't run away over a week. These four cover it. If all-inclusive is the deal-breaker, skip ahead to the UAI section.

Duyen Ha Resort Cam Ranh 5★ — top rated, lowest price

Rating: #1 among Cam Ranh hotels on TripAdvisor (617 reviews, 4/5). Price: from ~$63 a night.

Duyên Hà holds the top TripAdvisor spot in Cam Ranh and does it at the lowest five-star price here. Built in 2017: 609 rooms in a 21-storey tower, plus 1–4 bedroom villas with a pool or garden. Six restaurants, a Lagoona Spa, several pools including one for kids. Hard to fault as an all-rounder.

To Nha Trang~35 km

Pros: lowest 5★ rate while ranking first, six restaurants, villas for big families. Cons: the beach isn't right at the hotel (a shuttle runs), and it's far from town. Best for: families, couples, solo travellers — it suits almost everyone.

Cam Ranh Riviera Beach Resort & Spa 5★ — a beachfront water park

Rating: 4/5 on TripAdvisor. Price: from ~$94 a night.

One of the old hands on Bai Dai: a 169-metre beachfront strip right by the block, its own water park with slides, kids' activities and sea-view rooms. All Inclusive comes as an add-on. 12 km from the airport. Good for older kids who want more than just the beach.

⚠️
Heads up: since March 2025 a 25-storey building has been going up nearby (150 m from the block, construction noise 08:00–18:00). Ask whether the work is finished before you book.

Pros: water park, activities, All Inclusive as an add-on, a fair 5★ price. Cons: the construction next door; the blocks aren't the newest. Best for: families with older kids.

Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh 5★ — the reliable international pick

Rating: 9.1/10 on Trip.com (184 reviews), 4/5 on TripAdvisor (892 reviews). Price: from ~$81 a night.

Radisson is the "you know what you're getting" option: spacious sea-view rooms, close to the airport, calm, no surprises either way. A safe bet if you don't want to gamble on an unfamiliar chain.

Pros: a familiar service standard, 9.1 on Trip.com, near the airport. Cons: in-house restaurants cost more than eating in Nha Trang. Best for: travellers who want a known brand.

Aquamarine Resort Hotel Cam Ranh 5★ — newest and most affordable

Rating: 8.7 on Booking.com. Price: from ~$88 a night.

Built in 2024 — the newest hotel on Bai Dai. 620 rooms, pools with water slides, and the beach 200 metres away. Guests often note how much you get for the money: a comparable room at a Mediterranean or Turkish resort would cost several times more.

Pros: everything is new (2024 build), pools with slides, prices below the competition. Cons: the beach isn't right at the hotel (200 m). Best for:families with kids, a budget 5★.

💬 "We did all-inclusive at Movenpick for 10 nights with two kids. The kids' club ran until 21:00 — for the first time in three years we had evenings to ourselves. The food is good, though it gets repetitive by the end of the week. Tip: take half-board and eat at the Bai Dai restaurants." — guest review, TripAdvisor, 2025

Cam Ranh all-inclusive resorts (UAI)

Infinity pool at a tropical resort with palms and umbrellas at sunset
All-inclusive on Bai Dai means pools, slides, kids' clubs and a wide buffet

Two resorts here run full Ultra All Inclusive — food, drinks (alcohol included), entertainment and kids' activities all in the rate: Selectum Noa and Swandor. One caveat up front: all-inclusive on Bai Dai is not the Med. Alcohol is mostly local, imported brands cost extra, and the buffet is smaller. If you're not parked at the bar all day, half-board and dinner out on Bai Dai often works out better.

Selectum Noa Resort Cam Ranh 5★ — best UAI for families

Rating: 4.6/5 (88 of 95 reviews positive on Trip.com). Price: from ~$110 a night.

If you're travelling with children and want an easy, everything-included stay, Selectum Noais the first name to check. Ultra All Inclusive, a private 400-metre beach, a kids' club with daily activities, and a free shuttle into Nha Trang.

Pros: Ultra All Inclusive, free shuttle to Nha Trang, daily kids' activities, mini-club up to age 16. Cons: some reviews mention hidden surcharges — confirm exactly what the rate covers when you book. Best for: families with kids, all-inclusive fans.

Swandor Hotels & Resorts Cam Ranh 5★ — the club-resort pick, by the airport

Rating: 4/5 on TripAdvisor (1,154 reviews). Price: from ~$105 a night.

Swandor is the closest thing here to a big Mediterranean-style club resort: Ultra All Inclusive with a rich buffet, evening shows and daily entertainment. 510 rooms, 3.5 km from the airport — the closest resort to the terminal. On the food side you'll even find crocodile and ostrich; alcohol is included, local and imported.

Pros: UAI with a wide-ranging buffet, evening shows, close to the airport. Cons: it's a big resort — it can get busy and noisy. Best for: families with kids, fans of all-inclusive and entertainment.

For couples: adults-friendly resorts, spa and villas

Spa treatment with massage oil at a tropical Cam Ranh resort
Spa in Cam Ranh — from Amiana's Japanese-style onsen with mineral mud to Fusion's two free treatments a day

Travelling without kids, you get villas, spa and quiet. There are no strictly adults-only resorts here, but Fusion, The Anam, Amiana and Wyndham are noticeably calmer than the big family places. Four options across a range of budgets:

Amiana Resort Cam Ranh 5★ — onsen and mineral mud

Rating: 4/5 on TripAdvisor, 8.5/10 on Trip.com. Price: from ~$100 a night.

Amiana is the only hotel in Cam Ranh with an onsen — hot mineral mud baths on site. A 6,500 m² water complex with freshwater and seawater pools. 523 rooms and villas across a large plot, so it never feels crowded.

Pros: the mineral-mud onsen is unique in Cam Ranh, a 6,500 m² water complex, well-kept grounds. Cons: something is often under renovation — check before booking whether there's construction on site. Best for: couples, spa and wellness lovers.

Fusion Resort Cam Ranh 5★ — two spa treatments a day included

Rating: 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor. Price: from ~$132 a night.

A boutique resort with an All-Spa-Inclusive concept: two spa treatments a day are already in the room rate. Pool villas only, few people, and a total focus on switching off — the quietest option in Cam Ranh.

Pros: two daily spa treatments included, an intimate feel, pool villas. Cons: minimal entertainment for children. Best for: couples, spa lovers, a quiet low-key stay.

The Anam Resort Cam Ranh 5★ — colonial style

Rating: 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor. Price: from ~$154 a night.

Colonial style with Vietnamese touches — every corner begs for a photo. A private beach, design worked out to the smallest detail, and an old-Indochina feel. If you value a sense of place as much as the beach, The Anam sticks in the memory.

Pros: the architecture and design, the atmosphere, a private beach. Cons: the price bites, and there's little for small children. Best for: couples, aesthetes, photos.

Wyndham Grand KN Paradise Cam Ranh 5★ — golf and villas

Rating: #3 of 15 on TripAdvisor, 8.9/10 on Trip.com. Price: from ~$198 a night.

The only hotel in Cam Ranh with a golf course — 27 holes, designed by Greg Norman, with ocean views. Private pool villas (~30 m²), four restaurants, and a beach club with a DJ and live music in the evenings. It skews adult.

Pros: a golf course, private pool villas, an infinity pool, a beach club. Cons: from ~$198 a night, and it's slow going with kids. Best for: couples, golfers, the premium end.

💎
Pool villas for two: the widest choice is at Melia Vinpearl (200 villas). We covered it separately — villa categories, real seasonal prices, The Level and guest reviews → Melia Vinpearl Cam Ranh: the full review. Villas at Movenpick run 20–30% cheaper for comparable service.
💬 "Came to Melia Vinpearl for our honeymoon — the pool villa was even better than the photos. Silence, no one around, the ocean 50 metres away. And the breakfasts were superb." — TripAdvisor, 2025

On a budget: where a five-star costs least

"Cheap" is relative in Cam Ranh — you won't beat Nha Trang's city hotels on price, but for the same money you get a private beach and grounds. Three options with the best price-to-quality:

Best value Cam Ranh hotels
HotelFromWhy
Duyen Ha~$63Ranked #1 at the lowest price
Radisson Blu~$81International chain, dependable quality
Aquamarine~$88New 2024 build, far cheaper than a Mediterranean resort
💡
How to save:book 2–3 months ahead (in-season rates run 20–30% lower), take half-board instead of AI if you're out on day trips, and compare Booking, Agoda and the hotel's own site — prices often differ.
💬 "The main downside of Cam Ranh is that there's nothing to do outside your resort. No cafes, no shops, no nightlife. It's not Nha Trang with its promenade. If getting out of the gate matters to you, choose Nha Trang. Cam Ranh is for people who want to switch off from the world." — guest review, TripAdvisor, 2025

FAQ — common questions about Cam Ranh hotels

Which Cam Ranh resort should I book?

With kids and all-inclusive, Selectum Noa or Swandor. For a private pool villa, Mövenpick (118 villas, cheaper than the alternatives) or Melia Vinpearl (200 villas). For a quiet couples' stay, Fusion (two spa treatments a day in the rate) or The Anam. Cheapest five-star with a top rating: Duyen Ha, from ~$63.

Which Cam Ranh hotels are all-inclusive?

Ultra AI (unlimited alcohol): Swandor and Selectum Noa. Standard AI on request: Riviera and Aquamarine. But note: all-inclusive on Bai Dai is not the Med. Alcohol is usually Vietnamese; imported brands cost extra. If drinks aren't the priority, take half-board (HB) and save 30–40%.

Do Cam Ranh hotels have private pool villas?

Four options: Melia Vinpearl (200 villas, widest choice), Mövenpick (118 villas, great for couples), Wyndham Grand and Fusion Resort. Book two months ahead — they go fast in season. Tip: villas at Mövenpick are 20–30% cheaper than at Melia, with comparable service.

Should I stay in Cam Ranh or Nha Trang?

Cam Ranh for your own beach and quiet; Nha Trang for markets, restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. It's 25–35 km between them, 30–40 minutes by taxi, and local bus No. 18 (65,000 VND, ~$2.50) runs until about 21:30. If you want city life every evening, honestly you're better off looking at hotels in Nha Trang itself.

Is there a shuttle to Nha Trang?

Not at every resort. Selectum Noaruns a free one a couple of times a day; some hotels charge for a scheduled shuttle. Check the times when you book — the last run leaves early, so you can't count on it for a late night out. Keep Grab as a backup.

Which hotel is closest to the airport?

Swandor (3.5 km, 7 min), with FUN&SUN Lugano close behind (3 km). Handy for a late-night arrival — you're in your room within ten minutes. The flip side: closer to the airport means further from the quiet end of the coast. If aircraft noise bothers you, take Duyen Ha or Fusion Resort (10–12 km from the airport, completely quiet).

Is Cam Ranh good with kids?

Yes, with a couple of caveats: the nearest children's hospital is in Nha Trang (35 km), and there are no pharmacies in the resort zone — bring any medicines you might need. Best family picks: Selectum Noaand Swandor — kids' activities, a children's menu and a shallow pool. Request a child seat for the airport transfer when you book.

Prices current as of March 2026. Rates change — check the latest on Booking.com or Agoda before you book.
