All-inclusive resorts in Vietnam: Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc and Mui Ne

All-inclusive resorts in Vietnam exist, but this is not the Caribbean. On Phu Quoc, tour operators estimate that only 10–20% of hotels offer an all-inclusive (AI) plan at all, and only 10–15% of bookings use it. Below are 17 resorts where AI or ultra all-inclusive (UAI) is confirmed by the hotel's own site or a published tour-operator meal concept, plus what that plan actually includes.

The list is short on purpose. A resort made it here only if the hotel's or chain's official site, or a tour operator's published meal concept, names AI or UAI. Package details such as bar hours, drinks and minimum nights aren't published for every resort; where they're missing, we say so. No confirmation, no listing, however often a forum calls the place "all-inclusive".

Key points
Cam Ranh has the densest cluster: resorts line the Bai Dai strip with few cafes around, so AI makes sense there
Vietnamese AI usually means local beer and wine, bars until 10–11 pm, with à la carte dining and the minibar extra
Vinpearl sells its all-inclusive packages for stays of 7 nights or more
Tour-operator data from 2025: for New Year dates on Phu Quoc, AI added roughly $150–190 per room per night at a 5-star

Checked on 7 October 2026. Hotels change their concepts without notice, so re-read the plan before you pay.

What Vietnamese all-inclusive actually covers

A Vietnamese all-inclusive plan typically covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, daytime snacks and drinks from a set AI menu, served roughly from 10–11 am until 10–11 pm. The alcohol is almost always local: beer, wine by the glass, sometimes cocktails and "some spirits from the menu". Imported drinks, the minibar, room service and à la carte restaurants are usually extra.

You should be ready for the fact that "all-inclusive" at a Vietnamese resort will be not a buffet line but merely a set menu of 2–4 coursesCoral Travel, ATOR Bulletin, 7 May 2025, translated from Russian

Why is AI rare here? Tour operators interviewed by ATOR, the Russian tour operators' association, put it down to infrastructure: on Phu Quoc, as in Asia generally, eating out is easy, so most guests book breakfast only. Operators FUN&SUN and Russky Express said the AI hotels on the island mostly belong to international chains such as Meliá, Novotel, Wyndham, Vinpearl, Radisson Blu and Sheraton (ATOR bulletin, 20 August 2025, in Russian). Yet in most AI concepts we read for this guide, the drinks were built around local alcohol, with imports usually extra.

None of this is in the rate name. It lives in the "concept", the meal-plan text a tour operator publishes for each hotel. Here is how real concepts read (the detailed ones come from Russian operator Coral Travel's hotel pages):

Meal plans at Vietnamese resorts with examples from real concepts
PlanWhat's usually insideFrom the conceptHotel
BBBreakfast only—Base rate almost everywhere
HB+Breakfast, set lunch and dinner with drinksdinner at Alma Lounge with alcoholic and soft drinks from the menu, "served in glasses"Alma Resort Cam Ranh
FB+ ("Full Board Plus")Not spelled out on the page; the operator says price and services stay the samethe former "All Inclusive" package, renamedRadisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh
AIMeals, snacks, AI-menu drinks during bar hoursbar 10 am–11 pm, "one drink per order"Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc
UAIThe above plus more bars, restaurants, entertainment"Ultra All-Inclusive package… from breakfast and beverages to ultimate relaxation experiences"Lugano Resort Cam Ranh

Three details catch people out.

Minimum stay. Vinpearl books its AI packages for 7 nights or more, both on Phu Quoc and in Nha Trang. Five nights on AI there is not an option.

Imports cost extra. At SOL Phu Quoc every AI drink is locally produced; imported ones come at 20% off. At Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh you get one à la carte dinner for every three nights, and the minibar and room service are billed separately.

Same words, different meaning. Fusion Resorts advertise "all-inclusive spa therapies" and "breakfast anywhere, anytime". That is a spa concept, not a meal plan: lunch and dinner are not part of that description. And at Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh, sold with AI by tour operators in 2025, Coral Travel says the package has been renamed "Full Board Plus" with the same prices and services.

The rule follows. A rate name guarantees nothing; only the concept text does. Read it before paying and check three lines: bar hours, which alcohol, what costs extra.

Distances come from Coral Travel's hotel pages; "straight line" is our own OpenStreetMap measurement, and the road is longer. A dash means neither the source nor the map gives a distance. For hotels across the country regardless of meal plan, see our guide to hotels in Vietnam.

Cam Ranh: where all-inclusive is the norm

Turquoise bay and long beach in Cam Ranh with resort buildings in the distance

Cam Ranh is where all-inclusive is most common: our list has seven AI and UAI resorts on a single strip of Bai Dai beach (Bãi Dài), 4–12 km from CXR airport. The reason is simple. The resorts sit far from town, and there is hardly anywhere to walk out to for dinner.

ATOR's bulletin, summing up tour operators in August 2025, put it plainly: AI pays off at remote resorts "like Vinpearl or Cam Ranh, where there are few cafes and restaurants nearby" (translated from Russian). Dinner in Nha Trang every night means a taxi each way.

By OpenStreetMap boundaries, the resorts on the strip fall within xã Cam Lâm, tỉnh Khánh Hòa. Vietnam abolished districts on 1 July 2025, so a booking that still says "Cam Lam District" is simply using the old name.

Our Cam Ranh resort ranking compares the UAI options in depth, and the Cam Ranh guide covers the area itself. Below is a quick rundown of who sells what.

Selectum Noa Resort Cam Ranh. A brand from Turkey (the chain also runs a hotel in Belek), and the official site literally calls it an "All-Inclusive holiday". 506 rooms and villas. The main restaurant Gusto plus El' Primo steakhouse, Italian Mazzini and Japanese Wasabi. Which of these the base plan covers is in our Selectum Noa review.

Swandor Cam Ranh. Swandor itself describes it as "an ultra all-inclusive resort". Kids get a dedicated Puppy Restaurant; adults get the Ocean à la carte.

Aquamarine Resort & Spa Cam Ranh. Also Swandor, also "ultra all-inclusive" in the official copy. The site highlights its Egna Spa & Wellness and a honeymoon programme.

Lugano Resort & Spa Cam Ranh by Empyrean. The hotel site sells an Ultra All-Inclusive package. Main restaurant Restro, plus Basilic and Ocean Alacarte, with lobby and pool bars.

Cam Ranh Riviera Beach Resort & Spa. AI on early hours: breakfast 6:30–9 am, lunch noon–2 pm, dinner 6–8:30 pm. The beach pool bar runs 8 am–6 pm with water, soft drinks, local beer, wine and spirits, and the same local beer, wine and spirits come with lunch and dinner. The operator's concept lists no bar after dinner, so night owls should look elsewhere; details in our Riviera review.

Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh Beach Resort. Pool villas on AI: three meals, snacks, drinks from the AI menu. One à la carte dinner per three nights. More in our Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh review.

Alma Resort Cam Ranh. The operator lists two upgraded plans: AI and HB+, where dinner at Alma Lounge comes with drinks. The full AI concept sits in a separate file, so ask for it before paying.

Flights and fares are in our guide to flights to Cam Ranh.

Phu Quoc: AI in the north, breakfast on Long Beach

Phu Quoc has six resorts with confirmed all-inclusive, split into two groups. Four sit in the north by Grand World and VinWonders, 35–36 km from the airport, where there is little beyond the resort zone. Two are on Long Beach (Bãi Trường), 7–8 km from the airport, where AI is a matter of taste.

Since the 2025 reform the island belongs to An Giang province as the special zone Đặc khu Phú Quốc. Older bookings may still say Kien Giang; it is the same place. If you fly in from abroad, check entry rules in our visa-free entry guide.

North: Vinpearl, Meliá, Radisson Blu, Wyndham Garden

Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc. The most detailed concept we read. Breakfast 6–10 am, buffet lunch and dinner with local beer and wine, dinner until 11 pm, bar 10 am–11 pm. Two catches: "one drink per order" and a 7-night minimum. Full review: Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc.

Meliá Vinpearl Phu Quoc. Meliá lists it among its Phu Quoc all-inclusive resorts. The AI perk is full access to the Ibiza Club House; guests on breakfast, half board or full board can only get in with a paid day pass. The beach is 100 m away and 1,600 m long.

Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc. AI built on set menus: three-course lunch and dinner, with snack-bar food from 11 am to 4 pm. Alcohol means local beer plus white and red wine.

Wyndham Garden Grandworld Phu Quoc. A 4-star. The hotel site sells an All-Inclusive Package covering food, drinks and entertainment. In 2025 operators noted that 4-stars like this one offer AI "with a more modest choice of dishes and drinks".

Anex, one of Russia's largest tour operators, told ATOR that only about 10% of its Phu Quoc bookings were all-inclusive, mostly families with children or guests who don't want to leave the hotel.

Long Beach: SOL and Novotel

SOL Phu Quoc. Formerly Sol by Meliá, earlier Sol Beach House. AI covers The Kitchen, The Shack and Ola beach club. All AI drinks are local, imports are 20% off, room service is excluded.

Novotel Phu Quoc Resort. The hotel site describes its All-Inclusive concept. Per the operator, it runs 11 am–10 pm with lunch and dinner from the menu at Food Exchange; the Phu Quoc Seafood restaurant, imported drinks, the minibar and room service are extra.

On Long Beach, operators say AI is often unnecessary: dozens of restaurants, food courts and fish markets sit within walking distance, "at prices below hotel prices". AI makes more sense up north. The Phu Quoc hotels guide has more Long Beach options, and families should read Phu Quoc with kids.

Phan Thiet and Mui Ne: four AI resorts

Mui Ne beach from above: umbrellas, palms and surf

Around Phan Thiet and Mui Ne we found confirmed all-inclusive at four resorts: Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne, Radisson Resort Phan Thiet, Radisson Resort Mui Ne and Aroma Beach Resort & Spa. The choice is narrower than in Cam Ranh. Since the reform the province is Lâm Đồng.

Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne. 984 rooms and villas, 11 restaurants and bars, its own water park. AI covers breakfast, lunch and dinner at Mundo, snacks, and drinks 11 am–11 pm: water, juices, cocktails, wine, beer and "some spirits from the menu".

Radisson Resort Phan Thiet. AI split by venue: lunch and snacks only at CITRINO, dinner only at ULIVO. Local beer, wine by the glass and cocktails. The beach is 10 m away, with a 140 m private stretch.

Radisson Resort Mui Ne. New in 2025. In June 2025 ATOR reported it was running BB, HB and FB with AI planned for mid-July. The operator now lists a concept: 10 am–10 pm, three-course lunch and dinner, local alcohol and beer, plus a 200,000 VND (~$7.70) spa credit per person per stay.

Aroma Beach Resort & Spa. Breakfast at Tansy, a four-course set lunch. Dinner is a buffet only for groups of 20 or more, otherwise a set menu. Drinks 10 am–10 pm, including house wine and spirits.

The region's main drawback is the journey. Phan Thiet has no civilian airport yet, so you fly into Ho Chi Minh City or Cam Ranh. Per the operator, Radisson Resort Phan Thiet is 179 km from Tan Son Nhat, and Aroma Beach is 190 km from Cam Ranh. Getting there and the airport project are covered in Phan Thiet airport.

What about Nha Trang?

We didn't research city-centre Nha Trang hotels for AI, so none are listed. The best-known all-inclusive package in Nha Trang belongs to Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang on Hon Tre island (Hòn Tre), where the operator lists two plans: AI and AI+ (ultra all-inclusive).

Terms mirror Vinpearl on Phu Quoc. AI and AI+ require 7 nights or more. Food inside the amusement park, the minibar, room service and à la carte are extra. Full review: Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang; other city options are in Nha Trang hotels. If you want AI near Nha Trang without the island, look at Cam Ranh above.

With kids: what to check at an all-inclusive resort

Water park slides on a green hillside by the sea

With children, three things matter: a free kids' club with a clear age range, slides or a kids' pool, and food your child will actually eat. The resorts on our list describe these on their official sites, each in its own words.

What all-inclusive resorts offer children, per their official sites

At Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc the main draw for kids is outside the gate: the resort shares a zone with VinWonders and the safari park (review). Note that at Vinpearl Nha Trang, food inside the amusement park is not part of AI. Check the same thing at any resort next to a park.

The age range is the usual trap. "Kids' club" doesn't mean they'll take a three-year-old: Selecto Kids starts at 4. With a younger child, ask about babysitting and what AI includes for toddlers.

Also check room capacity: a Deluxe room at Centara Mirage takes two adults and one child. General advice is in Vietnam with kids.

Tour operators' figures for New Year 2025/26 on Phu Quoc: all-inclusive added 12–15k RUB per room per night at a 5-star (~$150–190) and 4–6k RUB at a 4-star (~$50–75). As a New Year package price, that is 20–40% above the breakfast-only option. These numbers come from Russian package tours, but the gap gives a useful sense of scale.

RUB converted at 79 RUB/$. Historical 2025 package prices for scale, not for booking.

On the Radisson Blu Cam Ranh example, the AI premium was about $1,160 for a week for two, roughly $165 per night for two. That money has to cover lunches, dinners, drinks and transport if you eat out instead. (Per Coral Travel, that same resort's AI package is now called "Full Board Plus".)

Where does AI pay off? Where there's nowhere to go. In Cam Ranh and northern Phu Quoc dinner means a taxi or the resort's own restaurant. In busy areas like Long Beach it flips: operators themselves recommend breakfast-only so you can try the local food.

AI suits
  • ✓ Families with young kids who don't want to hunt for meals
  • ✓ Anyone staying in Cam Ranh or northern Phu Quoc with no plans to go into town
  • ✓ Drinkers happy with local beer and wine
Skip AI if you are
  • ✗ Staying on Long Beach or near Duong Dong, with dozens of cafes and markets nearby
  • ✗ Set on imported spirits: they're almost always extra
  • ✗ Staying under a week at Vinpearl, where AI starts at 7 nights

To put it all into one trip budget, see our Vietnam budget guide.

How to book: direct or as a package

Indochine-style resort lobby with a reception desk
The lobby of The Anam resort in Cam Ranh. We couldn't confirm an all-inclusive package there, so it isn't on the list. Photo: The Anam, Unsplash

For most foreign travellers, booking direct is the natural route. Ten resorts on our list name all-inclusive on their own or their chain's site: Selectum Noa, Swandor Cam Ranh, Aquamarine, Lugano Resort Cam Ranh, Cam Ranh Riviera, Novotel Phu Quoc, Wyndham Garden Grandworld Phu Quoc, and Meliá's three (Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh, Meliá Vinpearl Phu Quoc and SOL Phu Quoc), listed on melia.com.

Direct booking can come with perks. Selectum Noa's site offers a 15% promo-code discount, a room upgrade subject to availability and free return airport transfers for stays of three nights or more. Compare that with a package on the same dates. Packages (see Vietnam tours) bundle flights, transfers and meals in one payment.

Before paying, ask the hotel five questions:

  1. Is the alcohol local only, or are imports included?
  2. When does the last AI bar close?
  3. Which à la carte restaurants are included, and how often?
  4. Is there a minimum stay for AI (like Vinpearl's 7 nights)?
  5. Are the minibar, room service, water park and spa included?

Get the answers in writing. Concepts can include a line like "the hotel reserves the right to change the concept without prior notice" (Centara Mirage's does), and a written reply helps on site.

When to go and when to book

The resorts on this list run on different seasons. Our Cam Ranh weather guide puts the dry season at January to August, with rain concentrated in three months. Phu Quoc, operators say, is best in winter, when other Vietnamese resorts turn cool and choppy while the island stays sunny with calm seas.

Demand follows. In August 2025 operators already reported 60%+ occupancy at popular Phu Quoc 4–5-stars for the winter season, with first stop-sales for 29 December–2 January, including at AI hotels. Their advice was to book by mid-October. It's early October 2026 now, so if the pattern repeats, New Year AI availability on Phu Quoc is already shrinking.

Monthly weather: Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc, Phan Thiet.

Common mistakes

  1. Expecting a Caribbean-style resort. "Ultra" doesn't promise imported spirits. In the AI concepts we read, drinks were built on local alcohol; check the UAI bar list separately.
  2. Taking AI on Long Beach out of habit. The 5-star premium was $150–190 a night in 2025, and operators note dozens of restaurants and fish markets nearby priced below the hotel. Count how many dinners you'll really eat in.
  3. Skipping the concept. Radisson Blu Cam Ranh renamed its package; Fusion's "all-inclusive" refers to spa treatments. A rate name means nothing without the text.
  4. Booking 5 nights at Vinpearl and expecting AI. The package starts at 7 nights, on Phu Quoc and in Nha Trang.
  5. Counting on a late bar. Riviera's dinner ends at 8:30 pm; Novotel's and Aroma's concepts end at 10 pm.
  6. Worrying about old addresses. Vouchers may still say Cam Lam District or Kien Giang. These are pre-2025 names; the hotel is the same.

FAQ

Yes, at a handful of resorts. Swandor Cam Ranh, Aquamarine Resort & Spa (also Swandor) and Lugano Resort Cam Ranh officially advertise ultra all-inclusive, and the Turkish brand Selectum runs an all-inclusive resort in Cam Ranh. The UAI bar list isn't spelled out on their websites, so ask for the concept before paying and check for imported drinks and closing times

On our list, Cam Ranh. Seven resorts with confirmed AI or UAI stand on one strip of Bai Dai beach, 4–12 km from the airport. Phu Quoc has six, and the Phan Thiet and Mui Ne area has four. In Nha Trang the best-known package is at Vinpearl on Hon Tre island. Other parts of the country were outside the scope of this guide

Usually yes, especially in Cam Ranh and northern Phu Quoc, where there are few cafes outside the resort. Anex says AI on Phu Quoc is booked mostly by families with children and by guests who don't want to leave the hotel. Check whether the concept includes a kids' club or kids' restaurant: Swandor Cam Ranh, for example, has a dedicated Puppy Restaurant. Also confirm the kids' club age range, since Selectum Noa's starts at 4

Almost never. Concepts say "local alcoholic drinks" or "local beer and wine", sometimes "some spirits from the menu". At SOL Phu Quoc all AI drinks are locally produced and imports are 20% off. The minibar is usually extra too, as Novotel Phu Quoc, Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh and Vinpearl Nha Trang state outright. Budget separately for your favourite imported spirit

Better to book it in advance. AI is sold as a package at booking, either through an operator or on the hotel's own site where the hotel sells it (Novotel Phu Quoc, Wyndham Garden Grandworld and others). Some hotels set a minimum stay, such as 7 nights at Vinpearl. Upgrading at reception isn't guaranteed, so confirm it in writing before the trip

On Phu Quoc, SOL Phu Quoc (about 7 km from PQC) and Novotel Phu Quoc (about 8 km). In Cam Ranh, Swandor Cam Ranh is closest: about 4 km by road from the CXR terminal, by our OpenStreetMap measurement. Per the operator, Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh and Alma are about 8 km away, Selectum Noa about 10 km and Riviera 12 km. The northern Phu Quoc resorts are farther, at 35–36 km. Phan Thiet takes longest to reach, since it has no civilian airport yet

That depends on how you book, not on the meal plan. Package tours usually bundle the transfer with flights and hotel, so check the itinerary. Direct bookings have their own terms: Selectum Noa's site, for instance, offers free return airport transfers for stays of three nights or more. Elsewhere, ask before paying what the car costs and where the driver meets you

Data current as of 7 October 2026. Hotels and tour operators change meal concepts, prices and minimum stays, so check the hotel's current concept before paying.
