Coworking in Da Nang: 11 spaces with real prices

If your clients are in Europe, your day starts at about 2 pm local time and you hit locked doors right when they come online. If they are on the US East Coast, only one space in the entire city is any use to you.

A day pass runs from 110,000 VND (~$4.40) to 320,000 VND (~$12.80); a month costs between 2,000,000 VND (~$80) and 6,000,000 VND (~$240). Rates are quoted in dong because that is what you will actually pay — cash or local QR transfer, rarely a foreign card.

One caveat that aggregator listings never give you: this is not "every coworking space in Da Nang". These are eleven we walked into ourselves. There is an honest section at the end about the ones we did not.

The eleven on a map

All eleven sit in three districts, and the geography matters more than it looks: crossing from Hai Chau to Ngu Hanh Son is twenty minutes by scooter over a bridge, every day, both ways.

Son Tra (Sơn Trà) sits between the Han River and the city beach. Dense, cafes on every corner, ten minutes to the centre by scooter. Four spaces here: Seaview, Enosta, Synergy and Green.

Ngu Hanh Son (Ngũ Hành Sơn) is the south-east, and the An Thuong block inside it is the expat centre of gravity: My Khe beach across the road, western food, English signage. Four spaces: HIVE, ACE, Coworking Danang and Hana's.

Hai Chau (Hải Châu) is the business district on the west bank. Banks, government offices, towers. The three spaces here (Tiktak 4, Tiktak 6 and cirCO) are built for companies rather than for one person with a laptop: registered addresses, meeting rooms, client receptions.

The practical takeaway: rent your flat in the same district where you plan to work. Otherwise a 3,500,000 VND (~$140) monthly pass quietly acquires forty minutes of daily commuting. Crossing the Han costs more than the map suggests — there are only three bridges and they clog at rush hour.

Prices and opening hours: all eleven

No aggregator publishes prices for Da Nang — not the directories listing "291 places to work", not the "10 best" roundups. Everything below is what we collected. HIVE appears twice because Studio and Focus are two different spaces at two different prices. Conversions use roughly 25,000 VND to the dollar.

A cheap day does not mean a cheap month. Enosta has the best day rate in the city, yet its monthly pass costs more than Seaview's or Hana's. The break-even point is around fifteen visits: divide the monthly rate by the day rate and you get 15.4 at Hana's, 14.8 at Seaview, 17.5 at ACE, 14 at Coworking Danang. Four days a week and the month pays for itself almost everywhere; two days a week and it almost never does.

Six ways to choose

Choosing on price is the worst strategy available. The gap between the cheapest and the most expensive month is about $160, while the wrong opening hours or nowhere to take a call costs you working hours every single day.

Working through the night

Seaview is the only space open around the clock to everybody, no conditions. You can walk in at four in the morning, and that is not a figure of speech. Coworking Danang gives 24/7 to weekly and monthly members. At cirCO the dedicated desks and private offices are 24/7, but hot desks are not. At ACE it is limited to people renting their accommodation.

Calls all day

Tiktak 6 has separate rooms rather than booths. Seaview and Hana's have call rooms; Coworking Danang has two single-person pods. At HIVE Focus taking a call at your desk is banned outright — it is the quiet floor, and the rule is enforced.

A team and a private office

Tiktak 4has offices for 5–12 people at 11–27 m² plus a conference hall. cirCO has ten private offices and three meeting rooms on the thirtieth floor. Enosta rents a whole studio as an office for 7,300,000 VND (~$292) a month.

Lowest budget

The cheapest day is Enosta at 110,000 VND (~$4.40). The cheapest month is Seaview or Hana's at 2,000,000 VND (~$80). For a couple of hours, HIVE Studio sells two hours at 90,000 VND (~$3.60) and Synergy at 120,000 VND (~$4.80).

Silence

HIVE Focus — a dedicated no-calls floor with sit-stand desks and monitors on arms. In our own walkthrough Hana's, ACE, Enosta, Tiktak 6 and cirCO also came out quiet.

Meeting people

ACE runs weekly events and a shared lunch with fruit every day, so introductions happen by themselves. Coworking Danang runs workshops weekly and Synergy gathers residents on Mondays. HIVE has no events programme — people go there to work.

The city closes early

This is the part the English-language roundups skate over. Vietnamese coworking spaces largely do not run on the Western always-open model, and Da Nang proves the rule.

Count the table above. Five spaces close between 6 and 8 pm. Enosta does not open on Sundays at all; both Tiktaks are shut on Sundays and keep short Saturday hours. Coworking Danang cuts weekends to 9:00–17:00. Four spaces offer 24/7 access, but only one of them without strings.

So the rule is: fix your working hours first, look at the price second. A 2,300,000 VND pass at a place that shuts at 6:30 pm is useless on a European schedule — you get three of your eight hours in.

Son Tra: Seaview, Enosta, Synergy, Green

Seaview Coworking

The reason night owls move to Son Tra. The only space in the city open around the clock with no conditions attached to a plan: turn up at four in the morning and you get in. City and sea views from the windows, internet on three independent lines.

32 Hà Chương, Phước Mỹ · 24/7 · day 135,000 VND (~$5.40) · month 2,000,000 VND (~$80)

For: total schedule freedom plus one of the two cheapest monthly rates in the city. A monitor is rented separately — 100,000 VND a day, 1,000,000 VND (~$40) a month. There is a hotel in the same building, and the live-and-work bundle starts at 8,500,000 VND (~$340) a month.

Against: mismatched furniture, so you will need to try a few seats. Noise is moderate — this is not a library.

Enosta Space

The cheapest day in the city and the deepest list of amenities: shower, printer, projector, flip charts, kitchen, lockers, scooter parking. Quiet.

For: if your day fits Vietnamese office hours, nothing beats this on value. A separate studio office is 100,000 VND per hour or 500,000 VND (~$20) a day, 7,300,000 VND monthly. Registered company address from 1,000,000 VND a month.

Against: closes at 6:30 pm, shut on Sundays, no weekly rate.

Synergy Studio Han River

The only sane pricing model for irregular attendance: you buy ten sessions rather than a month, they roll over to another day and stay valid for two months.

For: a minute from the Han River and the Dragon Bridge, premium chairs, self-service bar, lunch pre-orders, a reception desk with printing and scanning, and a garden terrace. Every plan includes a signature drink.

Against: we met ants on the outdoor terrace during our visit. Minor, but worth saying.

Green Co-Working

Technically a coworking space, in practice a coffee house with a library and panoramic windows. Open until 10 pm, which is rare for this district.

Ngu Hanh Son: HIVE, ACE, Coworking Danang, Hana's

Where most remote workers actually live. The sea is close, rent is higher, and everything around you works in English.

HIVE

The most expensive option here and the only one with a genuine quiet floor. HIVE splits into Studio, a normal open space, and Focus, a floor where nobody takes calls at their desk. The rule holds — we checked.

For: sit-stand desks, monitors on arms, a rooftop, a cafe downstairs, a shower and lockers. There is also a sauna with a cold plunge and yoga classes. A dedicated desk and a second monitor are 500,000 VND (~$20) a month each on top.

Against: the priciest in the city, no 24/7 access, and the weekly rate is gone — replaced by a two-day-minimum block.

ACE Coworking

Three floors with a cafe downstairs, greenery around and the liveliest events programme in town: weekly meetups and a shared lunch every day. Arrive in Da Nang alone and you will not stay alone for long.

12 Trần Văn Dư, Bắc Mỹ An · 7:00–20:00 (our check) · day 200,000 VND (~$8) · month 3,500,000 VND (~$140)

For: three call booths, a meeting room for 4–6, free monitors, a backup internet line, scooter parking. A 90-day plan costs 8,500,000 VND (~$340), noticeably better than three separate months. 24/7 access goes to people renting their housing.

Against: opening hours are not published anywhere — the table shows our own measurement, so confirm it.

Coworking Danang

The greenest site of the eleven: a real garden, a proper lounge, an ice bath once a week and unlimited Vietnamese coffee. Workshops weekly.

For: 24/7 access for weekly and monthly members — the second most available after Seaview. Three months cost 9,000,000 VND (~$360); a dedicated desk adds 1,000,000 VND a month. A day pass runs until midnight rather than until closing.

Against: no group meeting rooms at all, only two single-person pods. Not a team venue.

Hana's Coworking

Opens at six in the morning, the only space in the city that does. Free monitors in the hall, a rooftop lounge, a garden. Quiet.

For: the joint-cheapest month in the city with a full set of amenities — shower, kitchen, storage, call rooms, meeting rooms, a backup internet line. They will even rent you a monitor for your flat from 600,000 VND (~$24) a month and deliver it.

Against: cafes and shops are a ride away.

Hai Chau: Tiktak 4, Tiktak 6, cirCO

The business district. These three are built for companies: registered addresses, meeting rooms, client receptions — not for a laptop after the beach.

Tiktak 4

The only venue in the city with a conference hall for fifty. Plus a meeting room for ten, private offices for 5–12 people at 11–27 m², a reception desk and a registered address.

Tiktak 6

A small ground-floor office with individual rooms for calls. Clean, tidy, quiet. If your day is wall-to-wall calls, this is the best fit in the city.

Against:not much space, closed evenings and weekends. The location has no page of its own on the chain's website, so book through the main site.

cirCO Da Nang City Centre

The thirtieth floor of a five-star hotel, with a panorama over the Han River, Son Tra and the sea. No other space in the city has that view.

30th floor, Crowne Plaza, 17 Quang Trung · hot desks during business hours · day from 150,000 VND (~$6) · dedicated desk from 3,500,000 VND (~$140)

For: twenty hot desks, ten private offices, three meeting rooms (from 250,000 VND, ~$10, per hour). A private office starts at 3,800,000 VND (~$152) per seat, a registered address at 875,000 VND (~$35) a month. Gym and pool in the building.

Against:day access only during business hours. Prices are quoted "from" and are uniform across the eight-site chain — there is no Da Nang price list, and the real number is quoted on site.

Coworking or a cafe

Da Nang has a coffee shop with fast wifi on every corner, so the question is fair. Here is the arithmetic. A coffee costs 25,000–60,000 VND (~$1–2.40), and one drink for a whole day will not fly in a decent place — the unwritten rule is a new order every two or three hours. Over an eight-hour day that is three or four items, 100,000–200,000 VND (~$4–8). Which is precisely a coworking day rate, only without the chair, the socket and somewhere to take a call.

A cafe wins when you need two hours, make no calls and carry no external monitor. Past four hours, or with a single call in the day, the difference stops mattering. There is also a middle format: Green Co-Working is effectively a coffee house with a library, and HIVE puts a cafe on the ground floor with working floors above.

One note on sources: English-language aggregators lump cafes and coworking spaces into one list, which is where numbers like "291 places to work in Da Nang" come from. The real count of coworking spaces is in the dozens, and we visited eleven.

What a month actually costs

Coworking is roughly a fifth of a monthly budget. Three tiers below, all in dong with dollar equivalents.

What budgets usually miss: a rental deposit of one or two months frozen for the whole term, electricity of $88–170 a month on top of rent once the air conditioning runs all summer, visa runs every three months at $340–680 a quarter including the flight, and long-stay medical insurance from $80 a month. Together that is about what a mid-range coworking membership costs.

Meeting rooms, calls and team offices

If you are not working alone, the city splits in two: Hai Chau for teams, everywhere else for individuals.

Start with calls, the most common complaint. Proper separate rooms exist only at Tiktak 6. Call rooms are at Seaview, Hana's and Green; single-person pods at ACE (three) and Coworking Danang (two). HIVE Focus solves it the other way round: no calls at the desk at all.

Group meeting rooms are scarce. ACE has one for 4–6 people, billed separately by the hour, day or month. cirCO has three, from 250,000 VND (~$10) an hour. Tiktak 4 seats ten. Coworking Danang has none at all — if you plan team meetings, that rules it out immediately. The single conference hall in the city, for up to fifty people, is at Tiktak 4.

For a team of three to five, price up five monthly memberships rather than an office: five seats at ACE come to 17,500,000 VND (~$700). An office makes sense when you need a door that locks, your own cupboards and a permanent meeting room — not just adjacent desks. A registered company address is available at Enosta (from ~$40 a month), cirCO (from ~$35) and Tiktak 4 (on request); you do not need one to work remotely for a foreign client.

Practical notes

Test the internet yourself."Fast" on a website and the real speed at peak hour are different things. Run a speed test on your first visit, before you buy a month. ACE, Hana's and cirCO run a backup line, which matters during the September–December typhoon season: the submarine cables carrying Vietnam's international traffic break regularly, and on those days everything slows down nationwide regardless of which space you picked.

Socketsare types A and C at 220 V. Flat US pins and round European pins both fit almost everywhere, but there is usually one free socket per desk, so a power strip earns its place in your bag.

Payment. Cash is accepted everywhere and local QR transfers almost everywhere. Foreign cards are unreliable, so plan the first payment in cash. A local bank account makes life easier for anyone staying more than a couple of months.

Take a trial day. Every one of the eleven sells a day pass, and it is the only honest way to judge a place. Here is what to get through in a single visit:

Torn between two places? Buy a second day pass at the other one. Two or three hundred thousand dong spent checking is cheaper than a monthly pass you stop using in week two.

Visas and the right to work

A coworking desk has nothing to do with your immigration status. Nobody at reception will ask for a visa or a work permit, and a passport is requested only as operator paperwork for a monthly pass.

What matters is the visa itself, and that depends on your passport rather than on where you sit. Most nationalities enter on an e-visa of up to 90 days applied for at evisa.gov.vn; some, including most of the ASEAN, Nordic and several Western European countries, get a shorter visa-free stay. Vietnam has no digital nomad visa, so remote work for a foreign employer sits in a grey area that is widely practised and rarely enforced. Local employment is a different matter entirely — it needs a work permit and an LD visa arranged by the employer.

What we did not visit

The eleven above are the ones we walked into. Da Nang has others, and here is what we know about them.

Enouvo Space is the former name of Enosta Space.It did not close, it rebranded — the operator's own site still mixes both names. There are two Da Nang locations: 16–18 An Nhơn 3, which we visited, and 15 Tạ Mỹ Duật, which we did not. If you have seen Enouvo in older roundups, that is the same operator.

DNC — Danang Coworking Spacehas run since 2016 under the DNES incubator and is considered the city's first large coworking space. Sources disagree on its address. We have not been, so we quote no prices or hours. Space A, Nomad Space, IoT Space, Regus Riverside and Toong also exist and appear in at least two independent directories, but the same applies.

Two more names float around older listings. Surf Space shares an address and an operator with DNC, but its website no longer resolves; it has probably merged or closed, though we found no confirmation and will not declare it shut without one. Hub.IT does not appear in any live source at all.

Worth knowing why the lists diverge: the two largest English-language aggregators covering Da Nang do not know about Seaview, HIVE, Hana's, Tiktak, cirCO, Synergy or Green. The overlap between their lists and ours is two entries. Treat any "complete list of coworking spaces" with suspicion — including this one.
