Centre & Trần Phú — the heart of tourist Nha Trang
The centre is the Trần Phúbeachfront and the first three blocks back from the sea. Hotels, restaurants, tour agencies, nightlife. It's the most international pocket of the city, with English on many menus and signs — the easiest place to land if it's your first time in Vietnam.

Key streets
- Trần Phú — the main beachfront. 7 km along the sea, parks, the beach, the Lotus tower. The prettiest and most expensive street in town.
- Nguyễn Thiện Thuật— the "restaurant street." Sushi, Korean BBQ, Western food. Something for every budget.
- Biệt Thự — bars and nightlife. Sailing Club, Skylight Rooftop. After 22:00 the street comes alive.
- Hùng Vương — the shopping street. Shops, money changers, souvenirs.
The Lotus area
An informal name for the beachfront around the Trầm Hương tower (46 Trần Phú). A 36-metre pink concrete tower shaped like a blooming flower — a symbol of Nha Trang. Inside is a museum and a viewpoint; nearby you'll find the night market and first-line restaurants.

The north starts across the Sông Cái river and the Cham towers of Tháp Bà Ponagar. Two bridges connect it to the centre. The beachfront is 10–15 minutes away by scooter.

An Vien — the upscale district in the south
An Vien is a gated villa neighbourhood a 10-minute drive from the centre. Villas with pools, a private beach, secured grounds. The safest and quietest area of Nha Trang.
Paragon Beach
Its main draw is Paragon Beach. A concrete breakwater creates a natural "pool": the sea is always calm and clear, even in monsoon season. For families with small children it's a great option — the entry is gentle, the bottom flat and free of rocks.

Infrastructure
Minimal. A small shop, a couple of cafés — and that's it. For groceries, restaurants or a doctor, you head to the centre. On the plus side, there's an international kindergarten, Kid Castle (taught in English), on the grounds.

This is the zone of 4–5 star resorts: Vinpearl, Movenpick, Radisson Blu. There's no infrastructure beyond the resorts — a deliberate trade for quiet and clean water.
